Maritime borderguards accepted with pleasure the invitation to participate in the open day held at the Odesa International Humanitarian University.

Representatives of security forces and law enforcement agencies demonstrated their equipment, ammunition and weapons at the event.

About 1,000 applicants and their parents from Odesa and other regions of Ukraine visited the university during the open day.

The exposition prepared by officers of security forces and law enforcement agencies, made a real agitation among pupils and students. Adolescents were lively interested in each installation and enjoyed trying on the equipment and means of defence.

Many young men were interested in conditions of the service in the Marine Guard and expressed their desire to become maritime borderguards.

«At such events, we encourage young people to defend our Motherland in the future. We talk about peculiarities of the maritime service and capabilities of the Marine Guard, as well as about our united team and, in general, about the advantages of serving in the border agency. The young people who came here are just deciding on the choice of their future profession, so such meetings are very useful», the maritime borderguard under the pseudonym «Marik» says.
